AssetTrak uses essential browser and device storage required to sign users in securely, remember authorised session state, support offline working, queue field records for synchronisation and preserve application preferences.
Essential storage
Essential authentication/session storage and offline application data are necessary for the service to work. They are used for security, continuity and synchronisation, not for behavioural advertising.
Analytics and advertising
The current AssetTrak production build does not intentionally include third-party behavioural advertising or advertising cookies. If optional analytics or other non-essential tracking is introduced later, this notice and the consent controls must be updated before that tracking is enabled.
Mobile apps
The iOS and Android Engineer apps use local device storage for signed-in state, cached field information and offline queues. Mobile operating-system permission prompts, such as camera or notification permission, are controlled by iOS or Android.
Managing storage
Signing out clears authorised application state where supported. Browser site-data controls or uninstalling the mobile app can remove locally stored data, although records already synchronised to AssetTrak remain subject to the Privacy Notice and retention requirements.
