Information we process

Depending on how your organisation uses AssetTrak, the service can process account and contact details, employer/company details, customer and site records, asset information, jobs and diary assignments, engineer profiles, work records, certificates, photographs, signatures, service communications and technical audit/sync information.

Why we use it

Information is used to provide and secure the service, assign and complete work, keep inspection and maintenance records, create certificates and job documentation, support customer requests, send authorised service communications, troubleshoot the product and meet contractual or legal obligations.

Sharing and processors

Information may be processed by suppliers used to run AssetTrak, such as cloud hosting/database, storage and email-delivery providers. Access is role based. Personal data is not sold to advertisers.

Retention and security

Records are kept for periods appropriate to the organisation using AssetTrak, relevant contractual requirements and applicable legal or regulatory duties. AssetTrak uses authenticated accounts, role-based access and encrypted network connections. Field apps can temporarily store data on the device for offline working until sync.

Your rights

UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal data, object to certain processing or request portability. Contact hello@builttosolve.co.uk. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
